Lithium Battery Testing

UTS was retained by Lithium Battery Engineering (LBE) in order to investigate methodologies for fast charging lithium batteries. LBE, a leader in the development of lithium battery technologies, is working a number of commercial and military electrification programs that require high power charge and discharge operation. UTS is supporting this effort thru looking at various existing and new fast charging techniques. UTS role is to select and number of methodologies for evaluation and down-select an optimum algorithm to use with LBE’s advanced chemistry. UTS has collaborated with LBE on several other programs related to energy storage over the past 5 years.
